It is the last month of summer and we are getting ready for the new season! The fall/winter collection will be released on our website on September 1st and all of our customers will get a printed catalog.
Our end of season sale is in full swing right now, get beautiful pieces like our plaid Anette Culottes captured here (they are 50% off right now!).
When it comes to choosing a summer outfit do you go for a simple or a layered look? Here in Seattle we always need some layer, because it gets hot only occasionally, while most of the days the temperature stays below 75F. But when the hot summer days arrive (usually mid July) or if planning a trip to warmer states like California or Hawaii we prefer to wear simple outfits, like cute tops and comfy bottoms.
It is always nice to have some pieces in wardrobe that can be easily transitioned through the seasons. One of them is your favorite waistcoat, freshen it up by throwing a blouse or a lightweight dress underneath for a fun summer outing or put a waistcoat over a light sweater to add warmth.
I find that pregnancy itself is a beautiful experience for women. As I'm pregnant with my second baby I decided to design some maternity clothing for myself. After I tested them and felt how comfortable these dresses are I thought they would be a nice addition to our summer collection.
It's that time of the year - the release of the Spring/Summer collection! We are very excited to show you what we've been working on the last couple of months. Our spring line is the celebration of a modern woman. She is confident, dynamic, humane, compassionate and unstoppable. She is not strong in spite of her femininity, she is stronger because of it.
Diane sweater is one of the designs from our boiled wool collection. Our idea was to create a sweater that would be easy to wear like a pullover and would look modern at the same time. The boiled wool helped us achieve the clean tailored affect, every dart, every seam and pleat completes the look.
Great news! The trend of print matching and mixing is here to stay. Nail the trend and you’ll be able to create many more looks from your closet. The two prints to be mixed can be grounded or tied together by a third item in a solid color. To ground prints, neutrals are often used. But you can get an edgier look by using color.
The welcome crispness in the air after the stiflingly hot summer, the satisfyingly crunchy leaves, the rain that offers easy excuses to curl up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket, a cup of tea, and your favorite novels. What fall also means is the wardrobe planning. The first challenge we face is how to feel comfy without giving up on style.
I must say I'm in love with fall! All those tree colors, cooler days, fresh air, cute pumpkins, snuggling warmly into sweaters, blanket scarves and blankets with the hot cup of coffee is so inspirational! This is the most creative time of the year for me - I spend endless hours at the studio creating new patterns and finding new fabrics.
